Charles Lincoln Sharp died at his home on East Main Street at 5 on Wednesday morning after an illness of several weeks. He was the son of Isaac and Mary Eastlack Sharp and was born April 6, 1861. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. NT Gottschall. - kbz

Charles Lincoln Sharp, whose death was noted last week was buried inmaple Ridge on Friday afternoon after services at the Methodist Church at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. NT Gottschall. The pallbearers were Charles Campbell; Elmer Reiter; Elby Emmert; OG Swanay; Parke White and Homer Robison. The flowers were carried by Mrs. Guy Durham; Mrs. Olive Lough; Mrs. Charles Campbell and Mrs. Hubert Loudermill. Mrs. TS Banta; Mrs. Elby Emmert with Mrs. Lowell Spencer at piano sang Asleep in Jesus and Lead Kindley Light. Mr. Sharp was born at Waveland April 5, 1861. He was the fourth son of Isaac and Mary Eastlack Sharp. He was married April 17, 1909 to Loretta Grim at North Liberty at the home of Rev. and Mrs. AW Smith. He was a member of the Methoidst Church and K of P. Lodge. He was "trouble man" on the Waveland Telephone system as long as it remained in local ownership since which time he conducted a greenhouse business until shortly before his death. He is survived by the wife and 3 brothers; Otho W. Sharp of Crawfordsville, Alva Sharp of Montezuma and Frank Sharp of Waveland and by one sister, Mrs. Emma Barr of Russellville and several nieces and nephews. -- kbz
